Ready.coop is a community-rooted, cooperative studio creating and developing businesses that equip our communities to meet our basic needs, without extraction.
We support shared services and infrastructure efforts across the following areas. We work to support existing efforts in the spaces we operate; we are not interested in duplicating efforts unnecessarily and are most interested in addressing areas where there exist no workable solutions for members of our communities.

Low-cost “resilience energy hubs in a box”, making just transitions and emergency resilience affordable and autonomous.
Working with Namma Yatri on open-source mobility pilot in the DMV, for a platform with no fees taken from drivers, and that doesn’t focus on driving as the first way of getting around — but offering metro and bikeshares as well
Convening stakeholders around land trust opportunities in Northern Virginia and community-controlled real estate in D.C.
Developing worker-and-people owned means for online media, an alternative to VC-owned platforms like Substack, LinkTree, Instagram
Partnering with local orgs and innovators on initiatives around local fabrication, workforce development, and regional supply chains, with a focus on using local, natural, regenerative, and carbon-negative materials
Developing resources and tools to help people de-Google and get better digital practices, in partnership with providers like ProtonMail.
